i take phenomial photos of jets and planes with these lens and the photos are just far far better than an iphone 14 pro so yeah for $200 this lens is extremely good

What? I thought the 250d have bluetooth and the 2000d doesn't. am i hearing this wrong?

Just a note in case it’s a deal breaker for anyone: my 250D/SL3 has both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, just like the T6. Not sure if that’s universal for the model or if I’m just lucky…

A NOTE FOR GUITARISTS: Thank you for an excellent comparison video. I chose the H8 for a reason not touched on in your video, and something that may not be obvious to non-guitarists. Only the H8 has high impedance inputs, so if you are an electric guitarist or bass player, and wish to use direct injection (DI), you will need the H8. It has two inputs that can be switched for high impedance (hi-z), to allow an instrument to be plugged in directly. So even though the H6 allows instrument inputs, these will not work properly with an electric guitar or bass. You will need to also purchase a DI box, which to some extent would nullify the cheaper price of the H6. I initially purchased the H6, and had to exchange it when I discovered the lack of high-impedance inputs. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the video! I went with a used T3i as it had the flip screen and I got it at a fair price. After purchase I downloaded the Canon software and found it had under 12,000 shutter clicks. I got this camera to start messing around with Magic Lantern, and I'll add that your lens videos have also been helpful!

When you put a 50 mm lens onto a crop sensor camera, it does not turn into an 80 mm lens, it's just that the field of view is very close to that of an 80 mm lens.

I have someone selling a Cannon Rebel T5 for $200. With a 50 mm lens. I listed to your video right now about the shutter giving out after 100,000 photos. The person said it had never been used but how can I really know? Also, the SD card can be transferred to computer into Photoshop, right?

The crop factor affects the field of view not the focal length. I can understand how this is construed wrongly because you are getting the field of view equivalent to another focal length but it's not changing the focal length at all but the field of view you're seeing.
